Sponsors of Barnsley Hospital Broadcasting

BHB is a not for profit voluntary organisation, all the people at the station are volunteers who give up their time on a regular basis to run the station.

Barnsley Hospital Broadcasting elected to take on air sponsorship with a view to providing a regular source of Donations.

In return for an agreed donation, BHB play sponsor credits on air for the following sponsors.

Westfield Health Scheme, Woolworths, Barnsley Chronicle, United News & Frank Bird Menswear.

BHB are reliant on sponsorship to cover annual costs and the reinvestment of equipment, if you work for a local business or run a business in the Barnsley area? then BHB need to hear from you.

Annual sponsorship costs range from a donation of just £100 to £500

Facts about BHB :

All staff are volunteers and are managed by Felicity Devine, Voluntary Services manager at Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

All new volunteers are interviewed by BHB managers and by Felicity.

Two references are then taken up by the hospital, a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check is carried out and then you an start your training at BHB.
