Barnsley Hospital Broadcasting is the voluntary hospital radio service for Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The radio station based in Beckett House in the grounds of the hospital broadcasts music, requests, information and football commentary to the patients and staff 24 hours a day.

We have been in our current location on site at Barnsley Hospital since 1995 and have made some tremendous progress from humble beginnings. BHB is a member of the Hospital Broadcasting Association (HBA) and you can find out about Hospital Radio in general from the HBA website.

We are a voluntary organisation, we are all volunteers and all money raised is used to improve the service we provide to the patients of the hospital.

Each year as part of our fundraising efforts we hold a Christmas Raffle and Tombola. The majority of the prizes are donated by local businesses that support Barnsley Hospital Broadcasting and that allows almost all of the money taken in raffle tickets and Tombola sales to be used to continue the service we provide and improve it.

Please navigate around the site and if you need anymore information click on contact and ask us!
